- lists Thore Jonsen, age 23 (born Abt 1778), single; living in the household of Esten Ingebritsen, age 55, working as a shoemaker on farm #8

- indicates that for the first few years the family lived at Nøren, possibly at Vargåen. Around 1820 the family moved to Narbuvoll. Around 1832, they lived at Vargåen.
- It may be possible that Ingebret and Ragnhild are twins, born 1830

Tore Jonsen Grue married the farmer's daughter, Kari Broplass (the farm is about 40 km of Os and was known as Nordre Broen). The farm has always been in her family (Kari Broplass). In the peroid 1850-1880, different people in the family owned the farm. The main incomes for the farms in this district with rather poor soil was to transport coal and copper for the Røros Copper Mining Company. This farm had in some periods four oxes in this transport.

Tore Jonsen Grue, born 1778 on Gruva, d 1835, married Kari Embretsdatter, born 1789 in Tufsingdalen, Nordre Haugen [88-4], died 1885 at Tufsingdalen. Welfare receiptant [Legdslem] on Østre Bakken in 1865 [ this must be referring to Kari since Tore died in 1835; 1865 Norway Census has Kari Embretsdtr, age 76, as Legdslem on the farm Østre Bakken; head of household is Esten Olsen -- note that none of the others in the household appear to be a relative; I'm not clear on the actual meaning of Legdslem at that time - perhaps it was used to describe the care of someone for no charge or renumeration --- or, someone who can't care for themselves by working? ] [ note that all the children were grown - Simen and John lived in Røros, ]

By the baptism [records], they are mentioned in Tufsingdalen in 1810, on Elgåa in 1818, on Naren 1823, and possibly here also in 1823 to 1827 [ most likely ] 1824 and 1825 and on Verjåam 1830-32. Tore is on Nøra according to the probate proceedings or records [skifetet] of his mother on Gruva in 1828. In 1867, at the marriage of his son Tore, it is stated that Tore, the son, was born at Holmsbakken. [ [ Young Men's Roll, military, has Thore Thoresen born a Nedre Holm ] ]

It is told that Tore and Kari lived for a time at a cabin in the mountains [seterhuset] on Storhåvollen at Nøra, later known as Håmoen. It can be said that in the Kirkebokka they lived Naren (Narbuvoll), but Håmoen is located only a few kilometers [ ? or one or little more or less ] north of Narsjøen [ ?? Det kan være åra med bosten Naren (Narbuvoll) i kirkebokka, siden Håmoen ligger bare en drøy kilometer nord fro Narsjøen].

- Anne Margaret (1832), not clear, maybe Verjaå, but likely Nøren (birth register for her and a number are the same, but he handwriting is difficult to make out, but almost Nordigarden ??? , but in the Tolga Ministerialbok, parents on Verjaa ... [?]

[ appears that Verjaa and Holm are near Os - only a couple of kms; Narbuvoll is about 25 kms south of Os; it isn't clear if Nøren and Naren are the same place or different farms - they appear to be interchangeable and I have used the farm name as Nøren ]

Conclusion: Thore Johnsen Grue and Kari likely lived on the farm Nøren during the years 1821-1827 - most likely the sawmill Nøren, on or near the farm Holm (Nøren was divided from Holm; Holm was formed from the farm Skinnerhagen) and is located a couple of kms from the the present town of Os (Narbuvoll area is much further south). However, in the early years from about 1812-1818 they lived on or near Gruva and then in the later years close to Os on the farms Holm and Verjaå

- Os i Tolga Klokkerbok, births, page 34-35, line 8, birth 18 Mar 1820; father ? Jonsen Grue, mother Kari [?] Ingrebrestdt [?] ---- this doesn't correspond to the other dates I have for daughter Sigrid
- it appears that this is an error; it does not refer to Sigrid, born 1815 and died in Mar 1820, since 2 records in the Norway Parish Registers indicate that she was born in 1815

Thore married Kari Ingebretsdatter Broen (Broplass), daughter of Ingebrigt Ingebretsen Bruplass (Broen) and Kirsti Halsteinsdtr, on 29 Dec 1812 ⁵²⁰.^,521 (Kari Ingebretsdatter Broen (Broplass) was born about 7 Jul 1789 in Tolga, Hedmark, Norway and died on 4 May 1885 in Tolga, Hedmark, Norway.)
