  Research Notes:

1. Source: Ole Johan Nyass, Etteregister i tidsromment 1717-1969 for Grueslekten

Gives names, dates, etc; also says that Per and Ragnild brought the farm called Lillehaug from Ole Thoresen Nygaard and his wife Olava (from Ytre Ousten, Breen; Ole and Olava emigrated to the US - 1880 US Census at Praire Farm, Bur run Wisconsin) in Abt 1870. Per and Ragnhild had previously lived at Lower Gruen (nedre) for several years and then moved their family to Lillehaug 29 April 1872 (an alternate translation may be - Per and Ragnild's childern moved to Lillehaug and they moved to Lower Gruen).

2. 1865 Norway Census has Peder Ols. Nordgaardsgjelten (age 30 - b. abt. 1835) and Ragnild Thoresdtr (age 36 - b. abt 1829) with son (Ole Peders., age 1 - b. abt 1864) and daughter (Eli Pedersd., age 4 - b. abt 1861) living at the farm Gruen

3. 1900 Norway Census has list Ole Persen as Ole Perdersen (b. 1865) and family on the farm Lillehaug - he is listed as working on the farm; his wife as household work and cattle tender. Also Ragnild Thoresdtr (born 1832) as husfaderens Mor and working as milkmaid (budeie), cleaning woman (Vaskerkone) and spinning wheel worker (Spinding = Rokk).

Per Olsen Nordgårdsjelton is not listed, therefore assumption is that he died before 1900;
