- outlines her parents, brothers and sisters and some descendants
- indicates she had a child prior to the marriage with John Simensen Grue - name as Kari, born 1768. With the settlement of the estate after Gjartrud died in 1828, it was made clear/written that several years ago Kari had traveled to Trondheim, [where she died ??]. In Trondheim she had married a man from Hedemarken, Jens. There is no doubt that their son, Johannes, lived in Nordlandene.

Before her marriage to Jo Simensen, she had a daughter Kari Nils daughter. This one had traveled to Trondhjem several years ago and had stayed with a man from Hedemarken called Jens. She herself should have died at Trondhjem hospital. They had a son who would now be 36 years old. 5 years ago he worked for a merchant in Trondhjem, and the rumor was that he should have traveled to Nordland, but no one can give any reliable information about him. His name was Jon.

Christen is a bell maker and a teacher in Molde. Jon lives in Klokkervang, is a bell ringer and a teacher in Dalsbygden. The daughter Ragnhild is born in Yterhaugen.
