- marriage records record his birth as Nøren Narjord; but in the "Young Men's Roll", it is recorded as Ovre Holm -- - birth as Narbuvolden
birth - his last name is recorded as Nøren on birth registers
- thus, birth is likely farm Nøren, since it is part of Narbuvoll sub-parish, but I am not sure where the "Holm farm is"
2. 1865 Norway Census lists farm as Lille-Narjord; Ingebret as Huusfader, working as "tenant farmer without land" (Huusmand uden Jord); Brynhild spelled as Byrnnild with her home parish as Roraas
3. 1900 Norway Census lists farm as Madgrubben; birth year as 1830; working as "houseowner and day labourer (forest work)" (Huseier og dagarbeider (skogbrug); also listed is Thomas Torressen Dalen, as Fosterson, born 1898, and Karoline Thoresdtr. Grue, born 1876, listed as D (not clear if this is daughter - generally Thoresdtr would indicated daughter of Thore), working as a female day laborer (handiwork) (Dagarbeiderske -hanndgrerning)

In 1865 the Embret and Brynhild crofter people without land on "Little Narjordet".
