4. US Naturalization lists for ND give Ingeborg T Broen (1st on 27 March 1889, La Moure Co; 2nd on 3 July 1895, Statsman Co) and John E Broen (1st on 16 June 1886, La Moure Co; 2nd on 29 Oct 1890, La Moure Co).

- although it is not known, it appears that the tombstone at Scandia (and photographed on findagrave and also by myself) was added sometime after the original which a small part is seen in the photo); this was likely added by the family after Mary's death and so was likely after 1960

[ 8 Jan 2017 ]
Note: John E Broen and Mary are also recorded buried at Old Scandia and Scandia (County of Camrose, cemeteries, http://www.angelfire.com/ab/camrosecountychurch/OldSkandiaCemetery.html), along with Erik Broen (no birth or death dates) and Ingvald Broen (no birth date but death as 1933), and then John E and Mary). My hunch is that the list of names for Old Scandia had Erik and John and since no one knew of a son by the name of John, it was recorded as John E Broen and but then his the tombstone is located at Scandia.

Since John Broen, the son, died in Alberta and died before John E, I reviewed the scanned pages of the Camrose Canadian from Jan 1933 to late Jun 1933, but did not find a death notice of John, the son (or Ingvald or Erik)
