bullet  Research Notes:

Death - bet 1916-1921, re; census data

- he is recorded with his father's family in 1916, but not in the 1921.
- it is noted in the Armena history book, page 155, that Ingvard was born at Armena - but nothing else.
Inger, Asey, Josephine, Magnus are all mention on page 156. BUT not Ingvard [and no mention of brothers John or Erik]

- also: there is no record of him serving the WW 1; he would have been 18, on Nov 1918, so it is unlikely he would have been drafted since the war ended on 11 Nov 1918

bullet  Noted events in his life were:

1. Birth - 1900, 21 Nov 1900, Alberta, Canada. Ingvard's birth is most likely on 21 Nov 1900. This is the date on the 1901 Canada Census. The 1911 notes birth as Nov 1900 and 1916 Census notes 1900 (the 1906 census notes birth around 1901, but if his birth was in Nov 1900, then the 1906 census would note his age as 5 on his last birthday).

The 1901 census notes that his birth was in the US. This is most likely a mistake since the family was living in Alberta as early as July 1899 (from the homestead records).

Ingvard's name has various spellings, but I have used the spelling, Ingvard, based on the family use of this spelling in the submisssion to the Armena history book (Footprints Along the Stony).

2. Death - unknown, Between 1916 and 1921, Alberta, Canada. 586,593,595 Ingvard's date of death is unknown. I have not found a death record. He is recorded in the 1916 census of the Canadian Prairie Provinces, but his is not recorded in the 1921 Canada Census. Thus, it is most likely his death was between 1916 and 1921.

His father's obit (22 Jun 1933) indicates that his father was predeceased by 5 sons, two who died in North Dakota (Einar and John) and three who died in Alberta (Eric, Ingvard, and John). Mary's obit of 1960 notes that she was predeceased by 5 sons; however, the sons are not named.
