15 Apr 2025 ... I checked to see if Anne Lisbet Johnsdtr Sømåen was related to me, but she isn't - only connection is through her marriage John Ingebretsen Moen [he was a brother to Johanne Engebretsen who had married John Knutsen from Sømåhaugen.
Anne Lisbet grew up on what would become sondre Sømåhaugen. Her mother was Catarine Olsdatter, 1744-1838, and her maternal grandmother was Live Johnsdatter 1727-1807. As the comment below, Catarine had a daughter born outside of marriage - Anne Listbet Johnsdtr Sømåen - Ann's father was Jon Jacobsen Elgåen [it doesn't appear that I have any relationship to him, but I'm not certain].
It doesn't appear that Catarine Olsdatter was married. She died 1838 at Sømåen.
