https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/47767729/person/20220952990/facts
- has additional information of Josephine Broen, daughter of John E Broen; nothing on John's other children
- but only a couple of generations of ancestors, basically only the name with little/no detail

2. Hay Lakes community history book; p 452 (Erik and Hannah Paulson)

- notes Patricia (youngest daughter) has/is running the Miquelon Lake Store (Paulson's Store) that Askel and Josephine had run for 25 years

- Paulson's store - using google maps, the junction of twp rd 500 and range rd 205, also labeled as Spilstead Rd.

As a kid, I remember we would drive on this road on our way to Hastings Lake Bible camp. There was a gas pump, store. Sometimes we would stop but not often; maybe buy a pop or something. The last time I had been there was likely in the 1980's and I think it was still operating.
David confirmed the loaction (18 Mar 2017) and he said he had been by there about a yr ago and the building was standing but not in great shape [google satellite view shows a farm type of site, but ??? image apparently from 2022]
- the above FT has a photo. The building is somewhat like what I remembered -- a long building with the store at the front - the rest of the building I'm not sure. Maybe the back was the home ?? 580,587,588,589

bullet  Noted events in her life were:

1. Death - uncertain, Abt 1989, Camrose, Alberta, Canada. 590 The evidence for the date of Josephine's death is not proven. Her death of about 1989 is from a findgrave post for the Valleyview Cemetery in Camrose, recording birth as 1902 and death as 1989. However, I have not found any other evidence that this is the gravesite of Josephine Broen, daughter of John E Broen. There is a corresponding post for Valleyview Cemetery for Askel Paulson (likely her husband) that notes birth as 1895 and death as 1974 (this year of death also corresponds the information in the Armena History book (page 352) and the Hay Lakes History book (page 452) and the birth date is in agreement with his birth (see Armena History Book and then look for the 1985 MN State Census and the 1901 Canada Census).
