Karin Nilsdotter's death date is uncertain, but it is likely that she died in Genneesse Twp, Kandiyohi Co, MN sometime between 1885 and about 1888.

She is recorded with her family in the 1885 MN State Census at Genessee Twp, Kandiyohi Co, MN, but I have found no record of her death. The Augustana and Grace Lutheran church records in Sheyenne ND only record the membership of Per Halstensson, arriving in the area in 1888 (no other family members are recorded). This implies (but does not prove) that Karin died prior to Per arriving in the area of Sheyenne, Eddy Co, North Dakota.

Since Per and Kerstin were members of Stockholm Lutheran Church in Wright Co, I reviewed "funerals", but she was not recorded - 1885-1890
