  Research Notes:

1. Husförhör book, AI:7, 1870-1880, page 10, Sörberget

- Tobias Jonsson - married in 1879 to Sigrid Jonsdotter, and she has 2 sons born outside of marriage; household of her father, Jon Olsson (born 1809)
- Tobias Jonsson had come to Sörberget from Särnabyn (page 35) on 19 Jan 1874 where he is recorded as a 'drång' [general farm worker]; he also was recorded what I think is a worker that isn't working at any specific farm - referenced to page 197, 'Lösa or Löfsa Personer'

- Tobias Jonsson's step-son, Johan birth C:5, 1845-1877, image 62 no 22 --- witness, (Trång) Johan Jonsson and (Trång) Sigrid Jonsdotter, Heden
- and other step-son, Per Erik, b C:6, 1878-1894, image 6 no 20

** there is no evidence that Tobias Jonsson is the natural (or birth) father of eithr Johan or Per Erick - they both later adopted the surname of Tobiasson


2. Congregational Records, AII:1, 1899-1910, page 26, farm: Sörberget

- Tobias' wife, Sigrid Jonsdotter's two sons are recorded with the surname Tobiasson - Johan and Per Erik are recorded as leaving for North America 9 July 1908, but Johan returned 15 Nov 1911; Per Erik is recorded as married in 1906 with 3 children and all to N A on July 1908 -- although not completely clear, it seems that they also returned from North America in 1911 [they are recorded in the next book

- daughter Kristina (b 1833) has a daugther outside of marriage, Signe Maria, born 29 Apr 1904 in Särna parish ** C:7, 1895-1914, page 60 no 12, born 29 Apr 1904 and baptised on 1 June - father is Erik Johan Larsson from Spokane, Washington, North America, but there is no evidence that Kristina had traveled to Washington state and so Erik Johan Larrson must have have moved or more likely returned to Särna parish


3. Congregational Records, AII:2, 1910-1924, page 22, farm: Sörberget

- daughter Kristina is recorded as married to Per Eliasson in 1913; they have a daugther, Ingeborg Karolina born 1 Oct 1913; and moving to Långnaset on page 11; *** And she dies in 1915
- but Kristina's daughter, Signe Maria (born 1904) returns to Sörberget in 1918
- Tobias' sister, (Trång) Karin Jonsdotter (b 1853) comes to Sörberget in 1918


- Johan Tobiasson is married on 31 Oct 1913 and in 1917 moves to Långnaset on page 13
- Per Erik Tobiasson stays at Sörberget



4. Congregational Records, AII:3, 1924-1936, page 22, farm: Sörberget

- after the death of Tobias Jonsson (1931) and his wife, Sigrid in 1934, it appears that her son (and Tobias Jonsson's step-son), Johan Tobiasson took over the farm/house of Tobias - Johan is married and they have a forster son

- Signe Marie (Tobias' grand daughter), born in 1904 moves to another home in Sörberget (page 23), the home of Jonas Olsson (born in 1893) and is recorded as hush. which I understand to mean a 'housekeeper'; her surname is recorded as Johansson

- Tobais' grand daughter, Ingeborg Karolina (parents, Per Eliasson and Kristina Jonsson), is living with Per Eliasson in Långnaset (page 13) - Per Eliasson died 1 Oct 1932 (beside this, is '2/31' - ??); Ingeborg Karolina moves to Hedemora in 18 Oct 1933 and then she moves back to Särna parish in 1934 and resides at Särnabyn (page 47) and then in 1935 she is married to Per Lennart with a child, and they live a Särnabyn (page 46) - see data for 1950 and 1960 census

- Tobias Jonsson's sister, Karin Jonsdotter (born 1853) is also recorded on page 22 (Sörberget) and on 12 Feb 1929 moves to Särnabyn to an old age home (Ålderdom hemmet), the same home as Tobias (Karin Jonsdotter died 4 Jun 1939)

5. Residence, 1924-1936, 1924-1936, Särna, Kopparberg län, Sweden. ⁷⁵⁷¹ Locality: Sörberget. In Jul 1929 he went to Särnabyn, and then he later moves to Särnabyn to an old age home (Ålderdom hemmet). Tobias died at Särnabyn on 16 Apr 1931.

Tobias married Sigrid Jonsdotter on 29 Nov 1879 in Särna, Kopparberg län, Sweden.⁷⁵⁷⁰ (Sigrid Jonsdotter was born on 29 Sep 1844 in Särna, Kopparberg län, Sweden ⁷⁵⁷⁶ and died on 17 Feb 1934 in Särna, Kopparberg län, Sweden.)
