Maria Samuelsdotter

Summary:

Maria Samuelsdotter was born on 27 Apr 1777 and she died in 1838. However, there is not a death or burial record in the Östmark parish church death/burial book, volume CI:3 (1821-1860). The year of death is noted in the Household records, vol AI:12 (1836-1840) on page 161 (farm N. Metbacken). Towards the bottom of this page (3rd entry from the bottom) is Maria Samuelsdotter with her name crossed off, born 1776 and 8th column, "död 1838".

Maria Samuelsdotter was not married. She lived most of her life at North Metbacken (see below for all the household records. She did however have a son, Per Ersson (b 1810), outside of marriage. Per Ersson's father was Erik Persson (see household records, vol AI:16). He had married and had a number children.

Note that Maria Samuelsdotter b 1777 would have been my 1st cousin 5 times removed and that her son, Per Errson b 1810, was my 2nd cousin, 4 times removed. Also note that in the parish her birth is most commonly and incorrectly recorded as 1776.
