Using the birth year of 1776, give or take about 2 years (the birth years of the household records are often off a couple of years in the Fryksände or Östmark parish). The name is Lisa could also refer to Elisabeth, but someone could you that given name as a nickname or simply adopted it. But the other hint is that the father 'should' be named Samuel ...

6 Aug 2019Conclusion: given the above research and review of Östmark parish birth records, the most likely person in the above household records from N. Åskogsberget is 'our' Karin Samuelsdotter b 1774. However, the be more certain of this, I would need to also search Fryksände parish birth records. Of course it is also possible that the above named Lisa Samuelsdotter could have been born in another parish that is nearby and of course, she also could have been born in Norway.
Thus, it is possible that the above named Lisa Samuelsdotter (b 1776) is 'our' Karin Samuelsdotter (b 1774), BUT at this point, I cannot prove convincely that it is. Therefore, on my Legacy database I have not indicated a marriage or a death.
