- says that at Viken (Wiken) Jon Anderrson was born 23 Jan 1750 and his parents were Anders Halvarsson (b 1702) and Brita Esbjörnsdotter (b 1710)


parents Anders Jonsson (1787) and Kerstin Olovsdotter (1798), [ only one child ] son Magnus Andersson born 1835 at Rullbo in Hogdal (parish - Ytterhogdal) and one child; nothing on "our" Jon Andersson, b 1819

- does record the parents of Anders Jonsson and Kerstin and ancestors, as far back as 1616

- enka Elisabth ? Månsdotter born 1722 ????, a son Måns Johansson b 1757, daughter Elisabeth b 1759, son Par (Per) b 1756;
- as Måns Andersson b 1694 and wife Kerstin [?] ............ dotter b 1696
- there is another entery at bottom ???, Mathias Errson b 1722, and ....? b 1726


b. Ytterhogdal, A:2, 1785-1793, page 56 - index and on top of page is Djupsjö, and then about the middle of the page and on the left side of the columns is Rullbo, and Måns Jönsson (b 1728) and wife Kerstin [sp??] Jönsdotter (born 1730) ; then, the next line
- the left side is Mågen, Jon Andersson, b 1750; Kerstin Månsdotter b 1764, daughter Brita (1784), son Måns (1786), son Anders (1787), daughter Margeta Jonsdotter but she is crossed off, and Kerstin, born 1792 ...?

daughter, Brita born 8 Jul 1784 is married in 1812 likely in Los and has moved there?
son Måns (1786) and son Anders (1787) referenced to page 100 as Drång, farm Djupsjö
daughter Kerstin, son Jons, and daughters Margeta and Karin at home

f. Ytterhogdal, A:6, 1813-1825, page 104 and 220 (Rullbo) and page 146 (Fässjö)

- Anders Jonsson is recorded with his parents at Rullbo (page 104). He is married in 1818 and his son Jon is born in 1819 and is recorded on page 104 (for the years 1813-1820) and on page 220 for the years 1820-1822, along with son Jon (b 1819) and daughter Kerstin (b 1821). Anders Jonsson and Kerstin Olofsdotter and their 2 children are then recorded at Fässjö (page 146; years 1823-1825) and son Olof is born in 1823. ** surety level of this statement is '1-2' or probably correct but it is a bit hard to determine since the 'reference' pages do not correspond to the actual pages (see next line)

The above pages make reference to page 41 and to page 115, but this is either a mistake or this copy of the Husförhör book was made from a previous book that has been discarded

--- on page 104, Anders Jonsson (b 1787) parents are recorded at the top of the page, Jon Andersson (b 1750) and Kerstin Månsdotter (b 1764) along with other children; on Page 220, Jon Andersson (b 1750) died 26 Mar 1821

--- on page 146, Anders Jonsson (b 1787) and his family move to Fässjö and are recorded with her parents, Olof Mattson (born 1768) and Anna Michelsdotter (b 1775) and their children (as recorded on Legacy)

--- on page 104, Jon Andersons (b 1750) wife, Kerstin Månsdotter (b 1764) = records her parents, Måns Jonsson born 1728 died in 1816 and her mother, Kerstin Jonsdotter (b 1730) died in 1818

--- on page 104, Jon Andersson (b 1750), son Måns Jonsson (b 1786) and his wife Sigrid and daughter Kristen (b 1818), came from Ängersjö to Rullbo in 1813; on page 83 for Ängersjö he is listed as a Dr





NOTE: places of birth, death, and marriage are recorded on the my Legacy database as 'Ytterhogdal parish' unless otherwise recorded on the screen or on the source. However, I may not have verified the births/deaths/marriages in the actual parish church books

k. Los parish: A:4, 1847-1855, page 277, Hiviåsen

- Anders Jonsson (b 1787), Kerstin Olsdotter (b 1798) and son Magnus born 1835 Foråldran, re; son Jon Andersson
- also at the bottom of page is Anna Andersdotter born 1828 - Anders' daughter and sister to Jon or Jonas
- see 'residence event', re; likely jurisdicational change about 1851

l. Los, AI:5, 1856-1861, page 129, Hiviåsen; Foråldran, re; son Jon Andersson

- Anders, Kerstin, son Magnus, daugher Anna and her son - children move to page 130,
- on page 130 is their son Olof Andersson (b 1823), his wife and 4 children;; and as above line with Anna Andersdotter and 2 children, and son Magnus Andersson married with 1 child

NOTE: there are only 2 families/households at Hiviåsen; and NOTE that the previous pages are for Rullbo; and
NOTE: that in the Ytterhogdal parish books are recorded Rullbo and then Enåsen - are these the same place ??????

NOTE: Fässjo, Ytterhogdal is NOT the same as Fägelsjö, Los [ Fägelsjö is about 15 kms west of Rullbo]
Fässjo, Ytterhogdal is about 15 kms east of the town Ytterhogdal; Viken is essentially a part of the
town of Ytterhogdal, less than 1 km to the north]


m. Los, AI:6, 1861-1869, page 129 Hiviåsen, and then,

- Jon Andersson (born 1819) family and moves to Ljusda parish, 1865 - the exact date is uncertain but it appears that they left on 18 Nov 1865; thus, it is most likely that Anders Jonsson (b 1787), Jon's father, died at Loos parish but his death/burial was not recorded until they arrived in Ljusdal on 23 Nov

- Anders Jonsson died 13 Nov 1865 (although the exact date is hard to read on the Ljusdal parish page)



NOTE: it is not clear why Jon Andersson (b 1819) and family moved from Hiviåsen in 1865 to the farm, Gårde in Ljusdal. His brother Olaf Andersson (b 1823) and his family and his sister Anna (b 1828) and her family were all living at the same place. Were there too many people to support at Hiviåsen ?????
- there is another family that came to Hiviåsen in Jan 1866 -- Anders Larsson (b 1836) but I don't see that this is relation


BUT also in the same book, page 128 at Rullbo - a niece, Sigrid Jonsdotter (b 1841; daughter of Jon Johansson) is married and her family moves to America

6. Residence, 1851-1855, 1851-1855, Los, Gävleborg Co, Sweden. ⁷⁹⁰⁹ Farm/Locality: Hiviåsen. The change in the jurisdiction for this area was likely around 1851. In the Ytterhogdal parish Husförhör for the years 1846-1851, Anders Jonsson is recorded at farm, Rullbo. But in the next Ytterhogdal parish (1851-1860), he is not recorded nor is there a place name of Rullbo in Ytterhogdal. The other change that seems to have occured around 1851 is the locality from Rullbo to Hiviåsen. It is likely that the current locality of Hiviåsen was considered to be part of Rullbo prior to around 1851

Anders married Kerstin Olofsdotter, daughter of Olof Mattson and Anna Michelsdotter, on 13 Oct 1818 in Ytterhogdal, Jämtland län, Sweden ⁵³⁷⁰.^,7901 (Kerstin Olofsdotter was born in 1798 in Ytterhogdal, Jämtland län, Sweden ⁵³⁷⁰ and died on 9 Aug 1884 in Los, Gävleborg Co, Sweden ⁵³⁸¹.)
