  Research Notes:

NOTE that Jon Andersson b 1819 and Kerstin Nilsdotter b 1823 had two children (Kjerstin and Karin); they made have had other children who may have died at an early age. I have not reviewed death/burials page by page. [ 16 Apr 2020 ]


10 Feb 2010 ** I can't find a death record; he is not with his daughter and the Erik Andersson family in the 1905-1913 Congregational book, but was recorded with them in the previous book (this book DOES NOT indicated page numbers for the next or new book); I have looked through the death/burial book for the years 1900-1917 (last page was 96), but no record; nothing on Family Search; on ancestry, possibly but shows birth vrs death? There is one Family tree, but private

- also went through the pages for the farms, Rullbo and Hiviåsen for the years 1895-1913, searching for a possibility that he had moved into another house, but found nothing; In 1900 when his wife died he was 81 years and in 1913 he would have been 94 yrs old

- also looked at Tandsjö, searching for the possiblility that he had moved with his daughter Karin Jonsdotter married to August Mårtensson, but nothing (years 1895-1913)

- also looked at SCB extracts of deaths on Ancesty.com, Sweden Death Index, for the years 1904-1914, but nothing. And
on 16 Apr 2020, I searched again but no record


DISBYT - Hans-Åke Torsell data [he has other data on the family of Erik Andersson and Kerstin Jönsdotter]
- records Jonas Andersson, born 1819 in Ytterhogdal
- died between 1891 and 1894, Los NO death record on Los parish records for this time period
- this death DOES NOT correspond to Husförhör records that record him alive in 1904
- this information also says that Jonas Andersson married 1849 in Färila parish (no link to spouse) BUT reviewing marriages for Färilia parish in 1849, there is a record for Jonas Andersson (age 30) and Kerstin Nilsdotter. Thus, this is likely correct - see below and her ancestors

Conclusion: I have no explanation why there does not seem to be a death record of Jon Andersson (b 1819). This is seems to be unusual. Perhaps he had gone into the forest and his body was never found and no type of funeral or memorial was conducted.

Based on everything I have reviewed, I have concluded that he likely died sometime between 1904 and 1913.

- Jon Andersson (born 1819) moves to Ljusdal, 1865 - the exact date is uncertain but it appears that they left on 18 Nov 1865; thus, it is most likely that Anders Jonsson (b 1787), Jon's father, died at Loos parish but his death/burial was not recorded until they arrived in Ljusdal on 23 Nov

  Noted events in his life were:

1. Moving in and out of Los Parish, 1837-1850, Los, Gävleborg Co, Sweden. Jon Andersson (born 1819) moved to the farm Karvsall in 1837 [Los chapel/parish record, AI: 1812-1844, sec 5, image 185]. He left Karvsall and returned to his parents farm at Rullbo, but he moves to another farm in the area, farm Ösjö [page 144 of the Ytterhogdal parish record]. In 1842, Jon Andersson (1819) moves to the farm Kårböleskog and is recorded as a Drång (Kårböle chapel/parish records [AI:6, page 18]. Jon Andersson (1819) is next recorded on page 19 of the same book at the farm Kårböleskog owner, Nils Perhson's Enka, Karin Andersdotter (b 1792). On this farm, he marries Kerstin Nilsdotter (b 1823) in 1849 and on 26 Oct 1850 they return to Jon Andersson's (b 1850) parents place at Rullbo. Kerstin Nilsdotter's brother, Anders Nilsson (b 1825) takes over their parents farm.

Although I have not recorded any source citiations for this event record, the church book records references are all recorded and sourced.
