- lived as color master of Kristiansand. He was also married there
[levde som farvemester i Kristiansand. Han var også gift der ].
- Kristiansund is the most likely (not Christainsand or Kristiansand in West- Auger Co, in southern Norway
- Kirstiansund is abt 70 kms to the north of Molde in the Nordmøre district of Møre og Romsdal (also see http://www.worldsmegastructures.com/?p=776 for photos the part of a road between Molde and Kristiansund).

- this is an article about the genealogy of poet Arnulf Øverland's ancestry in Romsdal
BUT
- there is a confusion about the "colour or dye-ing master" - thus 'faremester' means a master of colors or dyes in relation to the dyes of fabrics etc.
- this notes that:

"On the contrary information is absent in Johnsen: "Kristansunds historie", volume 3. Instead we are informed that Anton Grue for a rather extensive period had been the one and only person, running a dyeing plant in Kristiansund.

Additionally volume 3 on page 403 relates that Anton Grue's widow remarried a Swede, taking over the dyeing business after the death of her husband.

- first and third from Familysearch.org - but couldn't find baby Johansen on the digitized parish registers


can't find Jonas Anton Grue or Claus Christian Grue in 1865 Norway Census
- no record of Ann or Johanna (search by starts with) and age 52,53,54,55,56,57,58 in 1865 Norway Census for Kristiansund

- death of Johan Anton, born in --- can't find a date, BUT 1842-1855 Ministerialbok has signficant fire damage - the first 25 pages with close to 75% of the records unreadable, then the next 10 about 50% unreadable and then the last 35 pages or so, about 30 % unreadable
- death wife Anne - ???; but she is not recorded in 1865 Norway Census

6 Death --- Kristiansund Ministerialbok, 1842-1855, page 7; Jun 1843

- digital image shows signficant fire damage
- age at death - 31 1/6 years (31 yrs, 2 months); residence, Christiannsund
- just before the name something is written - possibly farvemester, although the first few letters are unreadable
- Month of death is estimated, since the record is burned, but likely correct -- with his birth in Apr, then death would be in June (birth in June, death in May) --- But a few lines above, there is a record for the death of a child, 1/4 years old (3 months), with a birth in Mar 1843, therefore death in June

Jonas married Anne Johanna Hinchen on 2 Jul 1835 in Kristiansund, Møre og Romsdal, Norway.⁴²²⁴ (Anne Johanna Hinchen was born in 1811 in Norway ⁴²²⁴.)
