- father, Ole Olsen Skaret, farmhand [Drangen]; but of course Ole left in Sep 1892
- baptims witness: (Handl.) Olaf Skaaret and wife Kristina Månsdotter in Rulbo
2. Death - Memoirs of Skaret Family - indicate death in ND, but DOES NOT record birth or date therefore before 1900 or at least before arrriving in Canada ;
1900 US Census does not record a child, Olaf Arthur, thus he likely died before 1900
BUT based on the a photo of the Ole Olsen Skaret family with the photography based in Harvey, ND - this photo includes three children - Avey, another girl that would have to be Maria / Mary, and a child likely a boy, about 1 year old. The 1 year old would have to be Arthur Ole who was born 6 Jun 1897 in Harvey. Thus the photo was likely taken in 1898. Since Olof Arthur is not in the picture, he likely died before 1898
- I have not been able to find an actual date of death - not indexed on ND death index under surname Skaret, Skaaret, Skåret, Olsen or Olson or Olsson
