1. 1910 US Census for Tumuli Twp, Otter Tail Co, MN, with emigration listed as 1882 (1920 US Census lists emigration as 1881); naturalization 1898

2. 1920 US Census lists Edwin at age 15 (instead of Edward); also wife is not listed; also lists Joseph, Peder, Julia, Hilda, Louisa, Oscar, Edwin, and Hjalmar as living with Johan;

3. no futher listing of Joseph in 1930 US Census for Tumili Twp; 1920 US Census he is listed as age 27, single, farmer;
*** MN Death Cert lists Joseph Grue, death 13 Aug 1954, Otter Tail

4. Oscar; no listing in 1930 US Census for Tumuli Twp, but SD Marriage lists Oscar Grue, age 34 (born abt 1901) marriage to Esther Dorothy Kathryn Peterson on 2 Nov 1935; MN birth lists baby girl, born 26 Nov 1943 with death 26 Nov 1943 (MN death cert);
MN death cert (and US Social Security Death Index that also indicates a long time/retired railroad worker), gives Oscar Grue death as 3 Jan 1986 for Otter Tail Co (lists birth as 8 May 1901), and also lists mother's maiden name as Moen
