this is would mean that although the Femunsd hytte - smelting house/hut - was closed in 1821/1822 and most of the people that had lived at Femundshytte had left .... there was active residences for some people

Jørgen Jakobsen had 4 daughters and one son. Eldest daughter Anne Jorgensdatter married in 1829 to Rasmus Knutsen from North Joten in Sømådal. He had had the child Inger or Ingeborg in 1820 with Marit Olsdatter Femundsvold, but he and Anne Jørgensdatter had no children. They farmed S. Båtstø in 1852, but by the census of 1865 Anne Jørgensdatter and her blind or deaf-mute sister Johanne live here with their cousin Jakob Jonsen from Nedre Elgåen
Jakob Jonsen was married in 1847 to Gjertrud Olsdatter Lølve from Horg. The father's name was Ole Korssjøen. His sister Sara was married in 1832 to Lars Mikkelsen ** [this should recorded as Lars Nilsen, son of Nils Mikkelsen] at Femund cabin [see page 229] and his brother Iver who took over Moen, was married in 1840 Anne Sofie Olsdatter, daughter of Ole Iversen at Femund cabin
Both sons of Jakob Jonsen and Gjertrud Olsdatter, Jørgen and Rasmus, emigrated to America after they were married here.
Daughter Johanne Marie was married in 1874 to Jon Estensen from Midtdal in Tufgsindal, where they then took over the farm from her parents.
