- died in Alexandria, after taken sick suddenly
- born in Fosston
- at age of 20 [ abt 1908 ] moved to Canada and homesteaded for 15 years [ thus, until about 1923 --- however, he is recorded in Rosebud Twp, Polk Co, in 1920 US Census
- after Canada, he returned to Fosston for 6 ys [ 1923+6 = 1929 ] and then moved to Montona for 5 years[ 1929 + 5 = 1934 ] -- however, is recorded in Rosebud Twp, Polk Co, in 1930 US Census
- 5 years ago he went to Alexandria to work with his brother Clifford [ thus he went there about 1949 ]
- survived by his sons, Sterling and Clinton of Detroit, MI; 5 brothers; Elmer of Madison, WI, Clifford of Alexandria, Ralph of Fosston, Leo of Everett, WA, and Milton of Los Angeles
