- survived by his children, Scott, Douglas, Cynde, Sarah (married to Fletcher), and Kathryn all of Minneapolis
- also survived by three stepsons, Rolland Ranson, Orono, ME, Donald (Gail) Ranson, David (Deana) Ranson, and John Ranson, all of Ontario, Canada; three stepdaughters, Sylvia and Louise Ranson, both of Ontario, Canada and Kathleen (Rev. Terry) Hawkins, Oakwood; ---- are these her children and therefore his step-children or were the children of a previous wife ???
