- (basic/simple translation - Rueben Grue): Soland and Aagot emmigrated in 1872 to Menomonie Wisconsin and worked for Kanp Stuat Lumber Company [Knapp Stout] until 1874. For a long time he owned a farm north in a small community. They had one son who died at the age of 3. Aagot died in 1918 and Soland sold the farm to Martin Miller who was married to a daugher of John Aker who was a relative of Soland, so the farm stayed in the family.
