Marit Jonsdotter

Summary:

Following her direct ancestor line, Marit Jonsdotter descends from the early Finnish settlers [Porkka] on the farm Fäbacken [initially in Fryskände parish and then later part of Östmark parish, and even later, a part of Lekvattnet parish]. Following his father's line, he was my third cousin, 7 times removed. And following his mother's line, he was my "half third cousin, 4 times removed". So there is a 'double relationship'.

Marit was the mother of John Peterson Hedmad [b 1851] but she was not married at that time. In 1855, she married Nils Nilsson [b 1828]. Nils and Marit had 7 children, with 2 dying in infancy. Marit died in 1872 in Sweden.

As noted, I have not recorded the names of Nils Nilsson and Marit Jonsdotter [b 1830] on my Legacy database. However, I have recorded her son, John Peterson Hedman and his descendants - he emigrated to the US in 1868.

- father: drang Per Jonsson from Conradsfors [born 2 May 1829, Långerud, Östmark parish; his parents were Jon Olsson and Maria Nilsdotter from Langerud, CI:3, p 77 2nd side]

I have researched a bit more on Marit Jonsdotter b 1830 - see Gertrud Andersdotter b 1804 research page - this eventually links John P Hedman to our "Porka" ancestors.

BUT, Marit leaves in 1847 - looks like Fryks. [Fryksände] but then returns to her mother's place
and then moves to page 282 in 1849 - this is a farm/place in the village of Långerud - top of page is at Långerud
- she is recorded as a pige

mid page; this record is a bit messy with lines crossed off, but is what I have noted above
Marit Jonsdotter b 24 May 1830 ; and she moves to Fäbacken page 406 in 1853 [same page as her mother, Gertrud Andersdtr, 1804]
o.ä son, Jon Persson, 1 Jun 1851 and that his father is likely drång

Per Jönsson from page 288 (Långerud) and on this page is birth is recorded as 27 May 1829 and he moves in 1851 to .... ? ; on page 406 Per Jonsson is again recorded as father and it is noted he is from .... - with further research, this is also known as Konradsfors bruk (also spelled as Conradsfors) - I could't find him in this volume, but he is recorded at this place on the previous volume (AI:14) page 480 at the bottom of the page, where is recorded coming from page 282 (Långerud) and moving to page 471 in 1848 to another place in Conradsfors and then in 1850 to a place at Långerud

SO who are the parents of Per Jönsson b 27 May 1829 ??? - see his research notes - a little information
