Notes/obit : Earl Chester Willett was born in Farmington, New Mexico, in 1882 and died on September 3, 1969.
In his youth her served in law enforcement and witnessed the last Indian Massacre {?}
In 1908 the family moved to Alberta. there Brother Willett [brother Willett, must be a name from the Church] as an irrigation consultant and taught at Canadian Union College, then known as the Alberta Industrial Academy [near Lacombe, AB ]
He moved to Vernon, British Columbia in 1912 and in 1916 (December 8) was united in marriage to Minerva Hansen. To this union were born two children Virgil of Winfield and one daughter who pre-deceased her father.
During Brother Willett's years in art work he designed charts and stage settings for the early Adventist evangelist C. T. Everson. During his later years Brother Willett was practically blind which was a great trial to him.
He was a faithful and true believer until the end.
Left to mourn are his widow and son mentioned above as well as seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren plus many friends. Interment in the Grandview Church cemetery.
