1. Birth discrepancy

The birth/baptism book records her birth as "Fryksände parish, Värmland län, Sweden; Births/baptism, Fryksände (S) CI:1 (1707-1732) Page 233, no 41, Runnsjön," Elisabeth (Lisa) Johansdotter, birth 1726 (parents Karin Andersdotter (b 1697) and Johan Johansson

However, the Fryksände Household records only record a person named Lisa Johansdotter born 1729 living at Råbacken and married to Erik Olofsson b 1701. The Fryksände transcribed births note 3 children born in 1729 with the given name of "Elisabet", but none with the patronymic (efternamn) of "Johansdotter".

As with some other situations, it seems that a Fryksände parish priest mistakenly recorded Lisa Johansdotter's birth as 1729 and that birth year continued to be recorded throughout the various volumes of the household records.

The most reasonable conclusion is that the most accurate record of her birth is from the birth/baptism book (see above), and thus her birth was 12 Jun 1726, and this is the date I have recorded on my Legacy database.
