Bengt Staffansson
- Born: Abt 1690, Fryksände, Värmland län, Sweden
Another name for Bengt was Bengt Staffansson Tarvainen.
Research Notes:
1. Transcribed marriage records for Frykände:
2 Jan 1715: Bengt Staffansson fr M and Elisabet Persdotter, Mången
2. Both Kenneth Bergman and Bo Brunzell note a couple of court records One is from 1725 and in this it is stated that "Pål Henriksson from Svarthultet [near Mången] had stabbed and killed his nephew, Bengt Staffansson, also from Mången...." This implies that Bengt Staffansson died in 1715 (the year he was married) BUT: - both FT's (also on geni.com) also record another court record from 1730 that appears to say that Bengt Staffansson demands that he and his wife are supported by the sons, Henrik Staffansson and Tomas Staffansson
There is no death record of Bengt Staffansson on the Fryksände transcribed death records or on Släktdata nor is there a death date on Disbyt FT's
Conclusion: there is no clear conclusion on the death of Bengt Staffansson Tarvainen at this time. But I think the court record from 1725 is about another person named Bengt Staffansson.
