Annika Samuelsdotter

  Research Notes:

1. The birth record says that she was born on 8 Jun 1707, but that is impossible since the same church records show that her mother (Annika Andersdotter) died on 2 Jun 1707. Likely her birth date was mistakenly recorded since their were a number of baptisms on that day (14 Jun 1707) and likely the priest made a mistaken.
So, the the most reasonable conclusion is that the she would have been born the first couple of days of Jun or late May


2. 31 Mar 2019

- I haven't found further information in Swedish records for either Annika or Anna Samuelsdotter
- familysearch.org has a "computer generated" record for Annika Samuelson (id, M96S-7XF) that is clearly taken from their birth index; no other information other than name of father and mother
- there is one ancestry.com FT, "Värmland Släktträd" that says Samuel Nilsson was born about 1668 in Värmland
[search Samuel Nilsson born Fryksände ...]

- there is no FT on Disbyt, although there is one record from Fryksände "CD, Värmlands kyrkoboksregister" that records a birth year of 1707, but nothing else
- there is no record on "Transcribed Fryksände death records"

Since there are no records, it is possible that she died at birth or shortly thereafter. It is also possible that she moved away, perhaps to Norway. The early Household records are not useful. She is not recorded with her father in 1741, but she would have been 34 years old then.
