1. Kenneth Bergman data; [ link, http://www.kenalexis.se/p88d524a5.html ]

- on the record page for Anders Andersson, 1638-1691, Kenneth Bergman includes a transcription from a court record in 1692 (vt 27). The following is a basic translation:

Drängen Olof Johansson in Östmark has notified that his uncle Anders Andersson at Arnsjön was killed by another Finn farmer at Ärnsjön, Samuel Henriksson, who then escaped to Norway. The married woman, Lisbeta Johansdotter was a witness and tells us that Anders, who picked up wood from her husband Mats Klemetsson, had stopped and was drinking with Samuel, Olof Jonsson from Östmark and Finn drängen Mats Mickelsson Käck ("Kiek"). Anders had also given his son drink, for which Samuel reproached him.

Present [at the incident] was Anders' wife, Samuel's wife and daughter. This was reported by the boy Olof Persson at Östmark, Finn Mickel Matsson at Östmarksskogen, Henrik Eriksson at Sörmarksskogen and his stepson Olof Henriksson. [ About Henrik Eriksson he is said to be childless ]. Because Anders is considered to have provoked the slaying [attack], he should be buried without ceremonies and on the north side of the church.

1692 vt 27

I think the statement "buried without ceremonies and on the north side of the church" essentially means that the
usual burial ritual was not carried out and that his burial was not in the normal cemetery and maybe not in a
consecrated or sacred burial ground.

Conclusion: Anders Andersson Hotakka b abt 1669 was killed in a fight, possibly by Samuel Henriksson, in 1691. It isn't clear if Samuel Henriksson was ever charged, but not likely. And this is because, the court had ruled that Anders Andersson "had provoked the attack" on him.

3. b. another court summary

Per Bondesson in Östmark agrees that the boys Lars and Örjan Anderssöner in Arnsjön and their sister Annika Andersdotter and her betrothed Olof Karlsson [ for 37.5 rd - riksdollar, for a part of ??- avstår=relinquished ? 172? in Arnsjön, which Per received for a claim from their father's home, Anders Andersson Håtack (b 1638) and that they (the children) already got full legal title.
1702 ft 34

3. c. another court summary

Owner Anders Molitaeus accuses Millmarksborna [children] Olof Larsson Halsten and Olof Olofsson ib [from the same place] to have allowed the Finn Anders Håtack 'slash and burn' on their forest. The 'lawsuit' is suspended [Målet].
1683vt 57

[given the time frame this is most likely refering to Anders Andersson Hotakka / Håtack, b 1638?]

3. DISBYT: Roger Olof Holmstand, id # 5430

- records birth and deaths of children/descendants at " parish". BUT Östmark did not become a separate parish until 1801 (although there was a chapel there as early as 1765). Prior to 1801, records for the area of village etc of Östmark were under Frysände parish

4. Mantalslängder 1642-1820, Fryksände; SEE: my excel sheet, "Mantalslängder, 1653-1750, Fryksände" from transcribed notes

NOTE:
Most of the early volumes, 1642 to the late 1690's, are hard very hard to make out place names, and some off the early ones only record a given name. Thus, using the Fryksände parish Mantalsländger records for the years 1642 to about 1691 may not be very reliable; however, the later years contain some useful information.

1650 volume: parts of left page has water damage; usually this volume records name, but it doesn't seem to separate place names, but some have as an example "Per i [in or at] Mången"

1686page 188the handwriting is hard to read, and I can't really read "Ärnsjön" - in the subsequent volumes Arnsjön tends to follow after Runnsjön and before Gransjön and near Tväråna, but in this volume I find Runnsjön but can't make out Ärnsjön. Usually it is on the last page. I only see one "Anders" but I can't make out the place name.
- note that there is a gap from 1687-1690

1691page 1458ÄrnsjönAnders 2 'inflyf ...?? [ ?? use of the letter 'y' looks like '˙' but that is not common for Swedish, so if we change it to 'y' we have "inflytta" meaning to be inserted, or we 'inflyttning' meaning 'entering into a place' ???? ]
- it is not clear who this "Anders" is: Anders Andersson (1669-1711) or Anders Andersson (1638-1691)
