I have used the above FT the most. I have some records that collaborate her entries, but there is still information missing. The community history book [noted on point 1] has basic information on the family.

Records the name as J. K. Sonmor [Jacob K or E Sonmor family? - son of Elias J Sondmor) also on the right hand side of page 624, is the family of Ole Storbo (Thora's parents) - 3 of the children went to Normal School - Ester, Theresa, and Arnold. Ester then decided to be a nurse, but died before she graduated from Nursing
- searched one son: Cyrus - he was married and moved to Hamilton - one of his sons was Glen Robert Sonmor and Glen had played major junior hockey and later professional (American Hockey League, Cleveland Barons; Minnesota Millerss, US Hockey League; St Louis Flyers, American Hockey League) and then the NHL in 1953-1954 when he played 28 games with the New York Rangers. He also coached hockey many years with the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. He coached the Minnesota Fighting Saints of the WHA, and the with NHL, Minnesota North Stars, and in 1981 to the Stanley Cup Finals loosing out to the New York Islanders. There is a lot of information about him - google search
I have completed a document, along with some photos, giving more detail: See my PC, folder "Glen Sonmor obits and articles" [path: Grue-Prestliens-Jacob Nielson Sønmør-Elias J....-Glen Sonmor]
1900 US Census; Fosston, Polk Co, MN; Sheet 5A; line 38 Jacob K Sonmor, boarder, single, b May 1873 in Norway; em in 1882; in US for 18 years; salesman in Grocery Store
1911 Canada Census, from "automated genealogy"; http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/SplitView.jsp?id=25573 ;; Lib and Archives Canada, http://data2.collectionscanada.gc.ca/1911/pdf/e002105246.pdf
sec 24, twp 30 range 7, w3rd; this is also his homestead land emigrated in 1905 - surnname as 'Sonmore'
1906 Canada; recorded at District of Humboldt, sub-distict 7, page 3 [ enumeration as of 24 Jun 1906 \\ http://data2.collectionscanada.ca/e/e049/e001208568.pdf
Lib and Archives Canada - with surname Sonmor (also familysearch), but on automated gen..., "Tonniox ?" ???? but the description: "That part of the district of Humboldt bounded on the east by the line dividing ranges 3 and 4, on the north by the line dividing Townships 30 and 31, on the south by the South Saskatchewan River and on the south by the line dividing townships 24 and 25, all west of the 3rd Meridian" DOES NOT fit the land discription:
on Page 3, starting with line 30 ; automated: http://data2.collectionscanada.ca/e/e049/e001208568.pdf J E Sonmor [middle initial not clear], age 33 born in Norway, em 1903 [last digit hard to read, but a couple of lines down, it more clearly looks like 1903 ], then land description, Sec 24, Twp 30, Range 7, W3rd; then 13 horses, 3 milk cows and 4 other cattle then, wife Tora Johanna age 3 born in Norway Ester, age 5; Theresa age 5 Twins ??? Arnold age 3; Cyrus A [Abbot according to FT] age 2; Amos Clifford age 1 next family: Peter Storbo and then next line Ole Storbo ...
*** NOTE: it is difficult to find the family in 1916, 1926 or the 1921 Canada Census - not indexed, likely due to the name, but I have searched by given name and can't find them, although I found 3 of the children in 1921- see their pages
2. death from findagrave records year of death; an Ancestry.com FT records day and / or month [ https://www.ancestry.co.uk/genealogy/records/thora-storbo_132716556 ]
also noted on geni .com ;;; https://www.geni.com/people/Jacob-John-Sonmor/6000000007471246065?through=6000000007389671861
3. NOTE: there is an uncertainty about the year of Birth for both Ester and Teresa - the census record suggests they are the same age and thus likely twins. Sonmor FT [Judith A Amundsen]; last access on 14 Jun 2021
ASLO: there is a 9 year gap in births of Amos (1905) and Ethel (1914). It is likely there may have been other children born but died at birth or shortly thereafter and thus, not on any of the records
Noted events in his life were:
1. Residence, 1911, 1911, Saskatchewan, Canada. 8327
Jacob married Thora Storbo. (Thora Storbo was born in 1882 in Norway and died in Jul 1974 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada.)
