lived at Bjørbekkvollen in Tufsingdalen ["Punnibakkvollen"], and then the next farmer at Røstvollen [Vollan] i Elgådalen*
- they had a son, Mikkel b 1877, d 1947
* I think Elgådalen was a part of Engerdal, a parish to the south and east of Os-Tolga and to the eastern side of the lake Femundsen and the eastern border with Sweden

Mikkel [1840-1895] also had a son with Sigrid Throesdatter Grue [29 sep 1824],
Christen, b 29 Mar 1857, died 28 Jan 1947
married 1871 to Valborg Adamsdatter [Moen søndre], b 1842

- Sigrid had a son, Christen, with Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal, - son, Christen (likely Kristen) "next farmer of Broen nordre"
- before this she had a daughter, Olava (born in 1852), with Anders Olsen Nøren; Olava emigrated to America 1881;

- lists Sigrid Thoresdtr living at the farm, Bakken Norde, and as a servant to household head, Mikkel Neilsen
- lists Kristen Mikkelsen (born 1857) living at the farm, Midtdal Søndre, and as a Fosterson to Mikkel Larssen ; also listed in the household is Mikkel Mikkelsen, age 26 <1839>, as a male servant (Tjenestekarl) - this is likely Kristen's father b 1857 (based on information from Orville Movold); BUT if that is correct, then Mikkel Mikkelsen b 1839 was 18 years old with son Kristen/Christen was born in 1857 [and Sigrid T Grue would have been about 33 yrs old]

- A sister of Simen Toresen Grue (who had emigrated to USA and Canada) was Sigrid Grue. She lived on the Nordre Broen farm. She got an illegitimate child with Mikkel Mittdal. This child, named Kristian Mittdal become the owner of the farm (Norde Broen) in 1882. The family took the name after the farm, and they use Broen as their family name.

- indicates that Sigrid Thoresdtr Grue also had a daughter with Andres Olsen Nøren - Olava, born 12 Oct 1852 who left for America in 1881

- 1865 Norway Cenus: lists Olava Andersd., age 14 <1851>, living at farm Neergaard in Vindgelen; servant to Anders Lars.

- Emigrants from Trondheim, registration date 2 April 1881: lists Olava Aasen, age 29 <1852> from Tolgen married to Mikkel Aasen and daughter, Beret Aasen, age <1, <1880>; family's destination as Menomone, Wisc (Sept 2005 - couldn't find a listing at ancestry.com for MIkkel or Olava Aasen in 1900 US census)

- under Sigrid Toresdatter Grue - had with Mikkel Mikkelsen Mittdalen a son, Kristen who married with Kristine Persdtr Hodøl. Lived on Broplass, Tufsingdalen

Abt 28 Oct 2022 I contacted the "profile managers" for geni.com FT, Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal, 1840-1895 with the following:

Hi. The photo that is attached to the left of the page entry for "Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal", as well as his family group picture, is not Mikkel Mikkelsen Midtdal.

The photo is actually the photo of the family of Mikkel Larsen Mikkelsen. He was born in 1857 at Røros and he died in 1939 at Highland Grove Twp in Clay Co, Minnesota, USA. He was married to a sister of my great-grandfather. She was most often known as Olia Soffie Simensdatter Grue, 1858-1931. She died at Highland Grove Twp in Clay Co, Minnesota.

On 3 November 2022, there was a response, maybe: Activities performed on this day are incorrect. Whoever did this probably didn't have the full overview. A person in Skår in Hamre municipality is merged with a person in Svinastein in Fusa municipality. The error has meant that most things have become unclear.
Can this be reversed, or must one unravel carefully step by step?

(Sigrid Thoresdtr Grue was born on 29 Sep 1824 in Tolga, Hedmark, Norway ⁶¹⁰, baptized on 25 Dec 1824 in Os, Tolga, Hedmark, Norway,⁶¹⁰ died on 8 Oct 1901 in Os, Tolga, Hedmark, Norway ⁶¹¹ and was buried on 19 Oct 1901 in Narbuvoll, Os, Tolga, Hedmark, Norway ⁶¹¹.)

Mikkel next married Valborg Adamsdatter. (Valborg Adamsdatter was born in 1842 in Tolga, Hedmark, Norway.)
