- came to Stillaguamish valley in 1893 (his brother John had come in 1887) - bought 10 acres - mostly wild and marsh - succesful dairy - married Christine Olson in 1883 (1900 US Census indicates married for 18 years <1882>) - 3 children living at home (in 1906) - he born in 1857 and at age 20 years, emigrated <1877> However, both 1900 & 1910 US Census indicated his emigration in 1879

+++ note that there are a number of Caroline's children listed in the Camwood Obit Project (also note: Carroll Oliver "Ole" Olson, born 20 July 1920 in Fergus Falls, MN and died 27 Feb 1988 ??? -- the surname Carroll is associated with Esten Olson Narjord family --- 22 July 2009 - a few days earlier while searching, I came across the Carroll surname, but on 22 July, I couldn't find the connection +++ when researching the obits under the Camwood Obit Project - check this one out)

- Nils...Johannes NOT Confirmed --- But see email of 11 Mar 2011 from Pat Boe, re Jake's Langsjoen manuscript written sometime in the 1950's - this would support the information below

under Langsjoen - Daughter Olava (father was Jakob Pedersen from Høsen on Nøren, died in 1878; mother was Johanna Nilsdatter, died 1901), was married to John J Moen from Tufsingdalen. When he was 60 years old, he sold his farm to church singer (kirkesanager) M. Holøien and traveled to America. - another daughter, Johanna was married to Oliver I Rostbakken. - another son Nils J Langsjoen was born in 1828; his wife was Karoline Johnsdatter Sømaahaug (born in 1824). They had 7 children - Jakob, John, Nils, Johannes, Kornelius, Peder and Johanna. Nils and Johanna died and all the rest have gone to America
