- apparently one daughter, Edith Otillia Grinde, b 1892 in Rätan, Jämtlands län, Sweden; emigrated to the US
- email from Nanct Eidem, 29 Apr 2017: Edith Grinde lived for awhile [with Fred Gast, wife, and 'adopted son' Marvin Grue] as a boarder while she was a nurse at the state hospital in Fergus.

Another Grue connection to grandma Olive Thoreson Haugen. Then she ended up married and working at the Mayo Clinic(world renowned) in Rochester minnesota. We visited her when I was young for my grandma.
[in the 'ancestry messages' folder - Nancy doesn't know much about "Olive Thoresen Haugen' - birth etc or relationship to Grue. More research is needed.

Edith lived with her father until 17 Aug 1910 when she immigrated to North America.

- in the moving out records (B:2, 1895-1925, page 20 no 9) show that on the same day, Johan Leonard Larsson (no 8) also left Rätan parish for North America; he was from Rätansbyn (no 3) and is recorded on page 211; he was born 11 Sep 1887;
