- Daughter Olava (father was Jakob Pedersen from Høsen on Nøren, died in 1878; mother was Johanna Nilsdatter, died 1901), was married to John J Moen from Tufsingdalen. When he was 60 years old, he sold his farm to church singer (kirkesanager) M. Holøien and traveled to America. [ note that "he" refers to John Johnsen Moen, "senior", born in 1822 and died in 1912 in Alberta; Olava married John J Moen (1854-1917) who was the son of John J Moen (1822-1912) ].
- another daughter, Johanna was married to Oliver I Rostbakken. [ a nephew of our Olava Røstbakken, married to Simen T Grue ]
- another son Nils J Langsjoen was born in 1828; his wife was Karoline Johnsdatter Sømaahaug (born in 1824). They had 7 children - Jakob, John, Nils, Johannes, Kornelius, Peder and Johanna. Nils and Johanna died and all the rest have gone to America [ Johannes Langsjoen lived in the Silvana area of Snohomish Co, WA ]
