- Einar's birth is recorded in the Sweden church records (AII;1, 1899-1910, page 235); BUT there in no birth record in Norway Parish Registers

- 1900 Norway Census records his birth as 1897 - but this census only uses age for birth year
- 1910 Norway Census records his birth as 8 Jan 1898.

- I have no explanation for the gap in birth and his sister's birth in 1882; Einar's mother would have been age 47 when Einar was born
