bullet  Research Notes:

Name: Often a type of "nickname" became like a prefix to a given name or first name (förenamn) to distingiush a number of people in the same locality with a given name, 'Pilt' Erik Persson (Sofia Johansdotter). "Pilt" generally means "lad or laddie" and so it was used to distingiush this 'Erik Persson' from other 'Erik Persson. Each of Erik Persson's sons and grandsons had 'Pilt' added to their förnamn, and at times daughters and granddaughters

His son, Edvin Bertil Persson was recorded with 'Pilt' and Edvin Bertil's sons where also recorded with 'Pilt' in the 1960 census. Also Edvin Bertil's sons' first förnamn was 'Pilt Edvin' and then Sune Harry (the oldest son)
