Chester Arthur Eklund was born 5 Dec 1888 in Wright Co, MN. He was the son of John A Eklund and Ida Marie Hendrickson. He died on 8 Mar 1923 due to a gun shot wound suffered during a bank robbery on 20 Jan 1923. He was married in 1912 to Esther Olson and had 3 young children, Dorothy May, John Arthur, and Chester Allan


- there are numerous articles about the bank robbery - some are saved in the file folder
- 4 individuals were charged in connection to the robbery and Chester's death - all were convicted and in prison.
