I have reviewed the births for Östmark 1829-1833, but his birth/baptism is not recorded. I do not know why. It is possible that he was born in a different parish - he also is not indexed in the name index on Arkivdigital

1. Death, 1890, 30 Jun 1890, Stockholm Twp, Wright Co, Minnesota, United States. ⁶⁸³² Although I do not have definitive proof of Michael's death, it is most likely correct based on the newspaper articles I have recorded in the source document. Michael was killed after being hit by train at a railway crossing. His horse was also killed and the wagon was damaged.

Mickel married Helja Andersdotter, daughter of Anders Stephansson and Helja Svensdotter, on 1 Jan 1854 in Östmark, Värmland län, Sweden.⁶⁸¹⁴ (Helja Andersdotter was born on 3 Dec 1831 in Östmark, Värmland län, Sweden ^6815,6816 and died on 17 Dec 1900 in Wright Co, Minnesota, United States ⁶⁸¹⁷.)
