Between the farm and Nysetra western Skårlia is Samuelsbrenna [her homeplace?; not sure of location ?]. Johanne Skaaret told that Otter Olsen Hammersgaarden and his wife, Anne Marie, lost a little boy here. The boy named Samuel and is probably born in 1739. It is thought that Anne Marie [herding?] cows, and the little boy in a leather bag. Some of the cows got away from her, and she hung leather bag with Samuel in up a tree. When she had collected the cows, she could not find again a little boy, and he was never recovered.
