1. Gaps in birth of children:

There are two gaps in the years of the birth of children. The first gap is between Carl in 1905 and Oreta/Meta in 1910. The other gaps is between Della in 1912 and John in 1918. I have reviewed indexes on Family Search, Ancestry and MN birth death, but have not found any other children born to John J Egge (Jr) and Martha Niemann, nor I have found any other deaths of infant Egge children.

Of course it is possible that children were born who died at birth and shortly thereafter and were not recorded in the Jackson Co 'recorder's' office, or were buried in marked or unmarked graves in known cemeteries. At this point (25 Aug 2016), I have no evidence of other children.

Note that he family prior to John Egge (starting with sheet 3A) is Carl Niemann born in 1846 in Germany, emigrated in 1872.

There is a death record on the MN birth and death index John J Egge; however, this record does not record any further information, such as age or birth date. The Ancestry.com Public Trees use this record as a source for his death. It is likely that this is 'our' John J Egge's date and location of death, but at this point there is no clear evidence that this is so.
