bullet  Research Notes:

Some Disbyt Family trees record that Karen Larsdotter used a Finnish Family name 'Porkka' and that she was married twice:

1. First marriage on 25 Aug 1711 to "our" Anders Andersson b 1687 [Fryksände transcribed marriage records]
2. Second marriage to Johan Eriksson (1693-1758) - Finnish Family name, 'Tenhuinen' and that they had at least 3 children

Comment: when Anders Andersson (b 1687) died in 1716, he had 2 small children, ages about 3 and 1 years. It would be reasonable that Karen Larsdotter remarried sometime after 1716.

Evidence:

1. Fryksände marriage records: The transcribed parish marriage records DO NOT record a second marriage of Karin Larsdotter, b about 1693 and died in 1743. Kenneth Bergman's data records under Johan Eriksson Tenhuinen page that Karin Larsdotter Porkka was a "partnern", meaning partner [but this is a term he tends to use to describe, "spouse"].

2. The above Disbyt FT (Britta Svensson, id 34955; updated: 30 Dec 2012; and, Björn Emegård, id 18132; updated: 6 Oct 2018) record that they had 5 children, born between the years 1719 to 1729

¹ .... note. The written patronymic name for both parents are most likely a mistake. The transcribed births has a question mark after the names.

Niclas Persson Tenhuinen (see my document "Niclas Persson Anbytarforum posts, Apr 2001") for more information. He notes that he descends from Erik Johansson Tenhuinen b 1726. This also is strong evidence of relation, but Niclas Persson does not mention Karin Larsdotter Porkka's first marriage to 'our' Anders Andersson Hotakka born 1687

² .... note. In addition to the above Disbyt FTs, Manuel Aguilar Henricksson's Antnentafel Report includes the second marriage (but no date for the marriage) and the birth of their 5 children as noted above.

Household records: Fryksände (S) AI:4 (1741-1749) Image 53 / Page 97, Ärnsjön
- record Johan Eriksson, wife Karin and daugther Britta
- below this is: Anders Andersson, wife Karin - this is most likely 'our' Anders Andersson (b 1715 - ?) and Karin Staffansdotter (1709-1774)

link to Karin Larsdotter, https://www.geni.com/people/Karin-Larsdotter-Porkka/6000000020050763138

Note that this FT records Karin's marriage to Johan Eriksson Tenhuinen, but does not record an earlier marriage to Anders Andersson. The births of the children agree with the above Disbyt FT; this FT records Johan Eriksson b 1693 remarried and had another son, Nils Johansson, born 10 Apr 1748.

Karin Larsdotter Porkka was born at Åskogsberg, Östmark [ her father was from Rattsjöberg; Åskogsberg is about 10 kms west of Ärnsjön and very close to the Norway border.
[Manuel Aguilar Henricksson Antnentafel Report also records this birth place]

Conclusion The evidence is convincing that Karin Larsdotter (1693-1743) remarried to Johan Eriksson
(1693-1758), likely sometime between 1717 and 1719 (marriage isn't recorded in marriage
records??) [ 30 Oct 2019 ]
And that they had 5 children who would be considered a "half relationship" to 'our direct line'

4. There is another FT on the internet, likely the database owner is Monika Öhm, but date is uncertain
link to Karin Larsdotter, http://www.60gradernord.se/far/Html/far/far.htm
- this does not record her first marriage
- has some information on second marriage, and son Erik Johansson who was a Sold, Erik Johansson Mark
- has copied a partial post from Anbytarforum by Niclas Persson 6 Apr 2001:

"family Erik (Johansson) Mark soldier, and later discharged .... see point 5
According to information from the exchange forum Mikael Johansson 2001-01-28, the soldier Erick Marck participated in Långerud in the hat war in Finland 1741-1743.

5. Niclas Persson Tenhuinen Anbytarforum posts, Apr 2001
[basic translation, Rueben D Grue .. google translate, May 2019 ]

Regarding the Långerudsskogen forest and the croft named Käppanstorp, I can tell you the following:

Family. Erik (Johansson) Mark soldier, and later discharged was according to [Household Record volumne] born 1724 but was actually born in 1726 in Arnsjön, It was sometimes customary to make the soldiers somewhat older so as to be able to recruit these earlier ... [but in Fryksände parish, birth years in the Household Records were often recorded incorrectly - often 1-2 later than the actual birth/baptism record. Often the same can be said for Östmark parish, but not as common. 6 Nov 2019 ].

The statement [regarding the birth in 1724 versus 1726] would have been made by the priest, but [likely] from information from Erik Johansson [Mark], with records brought by the priest to his home or to the church office. He was of the family Tenhuinen with his parents Johan Eriksson Tenhuinen born in 1695 ca and Karin Larsdotter Porkka born in 1693. Johan Eriksson was born in Norra Röjdåsen [north or Arnsjön, abt 6+ kms, and abt 9 kms from Östmark] and his wife Karin in Åskogsberg [abt 6+ kms west of Arnsjön, very close to the Norway border]. Karin Larsdotter, was the daughter of a Lars Larsson Porkka in Rattsjöberg who was beheaded in 1707.
Erik Johansson birth: 28 Mar 1726 at Ärnsjön; parents are Johan Eriksson and Karin Larsdotter [Porka]
[Fryksände transcribed birth book: Johan, 29 Jun 1719; Lars, 1 Oct 1723; Erik, 28 Mar 1726; Britta, 14 Jan 1729;)

But back to Erik Johansson Mark's wife ...
Kerstin Nilsdotter is with 95% probability just daughter of Nils Ifvarsson and Maria Olofsdotter in Långerud. All other Kerstin Nilsdottar in Fryksände Storsocken at this time are busy, and besides, Käppanstorp is like a first village breakout during Långerud's home. [ SEE: my research notes that concludes the above statement is not supported by the parish records; see research notes for Kerstin Nilsdotter and for Erik Johansson (Mark) ]

Erik Johansson Mark's father Johan Eriksson Tenhuinen had in his younger days worked as a boy in the village Svenshöjden under Långerudsskogen, a stone's throw from Käppanstorp. The father thus had a contact with the families in Svenshöjden and Käppanstorp. However, he managed his boyish service less well and got fired ... That then son Erik Johansson marries to Långerudsskogen is quite natural ...

Erik Johansson and Kerstin Nilsdotter had the following children:
Karin Eriksdotter Tenhuinen 1754-07-16
Ingeborg 1757-01-10
Marit 1759-09-23 dead 1760?
Nils Eriksson Tenhuinen 1762-03-07
Marit Eriksdotter Tenhuinen 1764-09-30
Britta 1767-10-31 died 1770
Britta 1772-01-27

The children's places of birth, both Käppanstorp and Långerudsskogen, the same place!
