A Peder Andersen (died 1822) from Mortensgaarden, locally called Mortensper, in 1818 bought some land of Paulsolegaarden and started building. His eldest son Mikkel was injuried while working on the farm and died in 1831. Anders, the youngest son took over after his father. He was married to Kirsti Olsdtr Slaabakken. Their son Mikkel Andersen was the next farmer, and he was married to Guri Estensdatter Trøen from Vingelen.
