A Peder Andersen (died 1822) from Mortensgaarden, locally called Mortensper, in 1818 bought some land of Paulslegaarden and started building. His eldest son Mikkel was injuried while working on the farm and died in 1831. Anders, the youngest son took over after his father. He was married to Kirsti Olsdtr Slaabakken. Their son Mikkel Andersen [Michel] was the next farmer, and he was married to Guri Estensdatter Trøen from Vingelen.

[ En Peder Andersen fra Mortensgaard hvorfor han i daglig tale kaldtes Mortensper, kjøbte i 1818 et jordstykke af Paulsolegaarden, hvor han begyndte at bygge.... Mikkel.. fik skade under arbeidt i hytten og døde i 1831 .... ]
