- birth as 22 Nov 1876, Cedar Falls, Wisconsin [ Dunn Co, abt 20 kms north of Menomonie ] - home Claresholm, AB - works as a Foreman [ ? ] / Railway - next of kin - Oden Nelson - not married - previous military - 1 year with the 23rd Alberta Rangers - height - 5'9"; complextion - medium; hair - gray; eyes - light brown

- died 19 Aug 1941 at the Claresholm hospital - 2nd last survivor of family of 12 children - born in Cedar Falls, WI; in early life moved to ND [but in 1900 US Census at Ashland with parents] - came to Claresholm in 1903 with brother Odin and "...made his home there for many years" - WWI went overseas, "...but suffered with the climate there, and was not sent to France" - never recovered from his rheumatism suffered while in service - last few years lived in Claresholm - took care of rooms at the Legion - survived by, Mrs M J Murphy of Ashland - buried at Five Mile Cemetery 994
