1. Obit - wife, Minnie Egge, 1980

- gives her birth, death, etc
- she came to AB in 1914 - stayed with aunt in Fort MacLeod and later taught at Clear Lake School
- married Guy F Nelson in Fallon, Montana [ Prairie Co, about 75 kms east of Miles City, MT ] on 30 Dec 1920 when he returned from the Canadian Expeditionary Force in WW 1
- they lived in Red Deer until 1928 when they moved to Claresholm
- Guy died in 1937
- she and the family then moved to Butte Montana - she remained there until her retirement in 1957
- she then stayed with her daughters until entering a convalescent home
- survived by: daugthers Vera Gill, Tumwater, WA; Elizabeth Angam and Gladys Chaney of California; local neices, Evelyn Schram, Mabel Nowlin [ Dean ], and Margaret Nowlin [ Raymond ]; local nephew, Arthur Nelson; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
- pallbearers, all young descendants, Dean Schram, Douglas Nelson, Barry Nowlin, Douglas Gill, Larry Winters and William Rennie [ Holly Tomren's data - email from Marlee Rennie ]

1916 Census - can't find Julius or Guy on Sec 13 - MacLeod, ED 21 (same as ED as Odin Nelson)


3. Where Wheatlands meet the Range, pages 382-383

- came to Claresholm on 24 May 1903, by rail from Ashland, WI;
- came with his parents, George and Mary Nelson, along with brothers Oden Nelson family and Julius Nelson, and sister Vivian
- his parents died from separate accidents - father in 1907 [ ? ] and mother in 1908 [ ? - doesn't fit with Holly Tomren data or tombstone ]
- after parents died, Guy and Julius remained, but Vivian went to Ashland and lived with her aunt Mrs John Nelson

- gives birth, etc; names of parents - for both Guy Frithjof and Minni Theresa
- Minnie's resdence as Fallon, MT
