- BUT photo says child's name is Carol
- BUT CA birth index lists Karen Kay Clapp, born 22 Sep 1931 in Los Angeles Co; mother's last name Nordbye ??? -- -- likely evidence, since year corresponds with Ancestors.... BUT no firm confirmation

- family - Thomas S Burwell
- children are all listed with surname of Burwell; and relation to head of household is daughter
- Paul is listed as a clerk in a Bank; Vesta as a bookkeeper in an auto shop; Bernice ????
- also is listed as a son, Lawrence age 9 --- see - note under mother, Rosalie - second marriage children --- thus Lawrence is a step brother to Paul, Vesta, and Bernice
