On the MN Marriage records I found "Olava Olson" married to Marius Titterud on 21 Nov 1904 at Grant Co, MN. I then found Marius at Divide Co and wife Olivia (born in Norway) in the 1910 US Census and a record of their burial at Divide Co on findagrave with her death as 1913. However, on the ND Death Index her death is recorded but her birth is recorded as 1880. Through further research such as census records, I found members of this family and in particular a daughter of Marius, Ragna born in 1913 in ND (1930 US Census for Divide Co, MN; also Marius had a son, Edwin, born in 1904 in MN and Donald, born 1909 in ND (the boys were recorded in the 1910 census for Divide Co). However, in the 1920 US census, Ragna is recorded in Grant Co, MN as a niece to the head of household, George Olson. George is found in the 1900 US Census for Erdahl Twp, Grant Co, MN as a son to head of household Eberhardt Olson and as a brother to sister, Olava, born in Jun 1880.
Therefore, Olava Olson-Titterud is NOT the same person as Olava Olson-Broen, born in 1876 in Norway. 568
Noted events in his life were:
1. Disproven Death, between 1882-1885, Between 1882 and 1885, Grant Co, Minnesota, United States. 3383 I have not been able to find a death record for Thore Olsen Broen (Broplas). I am sure that he left Norway in 1882 and most likely went to MN. However, I have not found him recorded in the 1885 MN State Census or any other place. Thus it is likely he died between 1882 and 1885, but there is no convincing evidence of this date
2. Emigration - 1882, 1882. 561 Leaving Narbuvoll, Os, Tolga parish for North America
