Lars Mikkelssen is one of the two known miners [gruveabeiderne] who settled in Tufsingdalen. In 1715 and 1716 he is listed as a handyman in the mining accounts. [handyman - knekt is confusing since a direct translation is knave or jack; for jack is a labor or workman, possibly a "jack of all trades".

Children, birth date according to age at probate proceeding for Sigrid in 1744 (she died in 1743).
