Allen Norton, son of Mrs. Fanny Norton, of Elmore, well known for her WCTU work, has been found after over fifteen years of silence. He married Miss Ida Bergseth, the girl of his choice, and took her to Colorado to save her life from tuberculosis, but she died soon after arriving there. For a time he wrote his people and then wrote that he was tired and needed a rest and was going up into the mountains to camp, and try as they could, they could never get any trace of him after that although several of his family have made trips west to try to locate him. A few days ago his eldest brother went to Baker, Ore to attend an Fellows convention and learned that a man by the name of Salem Norton lived close by Bend Or, and upon going there found his long lost brother who was married again and has one child. His aged father died a few years ago, not knowing where his son was dead of alive. His aged mother is certainly overjoyed by the new from her long lost son.

Note: The FT does note that Allen Norton was married in 1918 again to Alice [died in 1974 and a duaghter - but she may have been a step-daughter. It is not clear ... the daughter, Mildred Blanch married to Ralph Freeman and they moved to Tennessee
