- (rough translation, page 16 & 17, Rueben Grue) Johannes Johnsen Grue (born 1875) was a teacher who had his last class of pupils in 1890. In 1886 he had received [land] on Langen from John Simenson Grue [born 1804]. He later lived on his birthright property [on land] of his brother's, Ola [ Ole - source Norway Parish Registers ] . With this, his mother, Anne, came (to live) nearer her childhood home. Johannes married Brynhild Persdtr Aas. Brynhild inherited Malimoen at Os from her aunt Sofie As. Later she received an offer her mother's brother, sherriff Toresen from Kvikne. He both offered and transferred (the land, property) in the early summer of 1901. They [Johannes and Brynhild] moved livestock over Såttåhaugen - Grønnkjønnan and further to Kvikne. Per Johannesen [son?] was a knowledgeable tour leader even in much weather.

Johannes Jonsen [Grue] born 1875 Ytergarden, 123-3, d.1937. Married 1895 to Brynhild Perdsdatter Ås, Fabroåsen 120-1, b 1869, d 1915. They moved to Kvikne in 1901 and continued to live there for some years on Malimoen, which they owned. Johannes was Member of Parliament [Storting] for a period. After her husband's death [1882 ]. Johannes' mother Anne Olsdatter came [to Langen] from Ytergarden, along with her three sons, to take care of the old [Jon Simensen and his wife, Sigrid]. Jon Simensen [Grue, born 1804] transferred Langen to Anne's eldest son Johannes in 1886.
