- (rough/simple translation - Rueben Grue) - page 16. Son of John Olsen Jamt, Johannes Johnsen, came to Gruegarden and married Marit Persdtr Grue. She was the half-sister of John Simensen (Grue) (born 1804). Thoraalf Grue wrote "both these persons according to general opinion were in possession of great, clear mind and calm/quiet reflection or thought. Johannes was an exceedingly practical man. Even the knowledge and learning of mountain forms/formations (to a high degree) was a subject of his." Johannes and Marit had four children. In addition they had children die as a baby - 2 christened as Per and 1 as Maren.

Johannes married Marit Persdtr Grue, daughter of Per Johnsen Moseng and Eli Estensdtr Trøen Breen. (Marit Persdtr Grue was born on 15 Apr 1819 in Tolga, Hedmark, Norway ⁸⁸⁰, baptized on 31 May 1819 in Tolga, Hedmark, Norway,⁸⁸⁰ died on 26 May 1908 in Os, Tolga, Hedmark, Norway ⁸⁸¹ and was buried on 11 Jun 1908 in Os, Tolga, Hedmark, Norway ⁸⁸¹.)
