- (simple/basic translation - Rueben Grue), page 19. A short time after their wedding in April 1903, they purchased a share of the old Rønningen farm in Dalysbygda from Elias Nygård. Within his younger years, Simen became good with the violen. After about 12 years he played at the wedding (s)....and since this, the violin followed him always and he later (started) a (mission?) for (unmarried men?). He gave this his all and earned a good mission at Rønningen among those who were interested in this (topic).
